Reduced Timetable in response to Coronavirus Outbreak - March 2020

Train Operating Companies across the UK are introducing reduced timetables from Monday 23 March in response to the coronavirus outbreak. With the population following Government advice to avoid unnecessary journeys and crowded areas, passenger numbers have fallen significantly. In addition several rail staff have contracted the virus, or are self isolating when family members have been affected.

The Derwent Valley Line will have a 2hrly service betwwen the peaks, with a later first train and an earlier last train.
