Derby Station - Track Layout Remodelling Plans 2018

Network Rail has started consultations with Stakeholders on its plans to remodel the tracks around Derby Station with the aim of improving the operation of services. This will involve the building of a new platform. Work is planned for August & September 2018 when there will be closures of the station and disruption to services.

FDVL has written to MP Sir Patrick Mcloughlin to express our initial concerns over the impact for DVL line users.

Network Rail have agreed to meet us and other bodies in September to discuss the issues and give more details on their emerging plans for the works.

Copies of correspondence are on our Documents page.
